Subject: HELP!! Ants ate into my VFT!!!

Help! What can I do!?
I went outside to my greenhouse and discovered that fire ants (we have
tons of them and can't seem to get rid of them) had eaten a hole into one
of the VFT traps that had an insect inside, to steal the insect. What can
I do to stop them!!? This is terrible!
