I don't know if this is an appropriate contribution,
but I was just considering carnivorous plants from
a bug's point of view.

Little bug, alas, is doomed
To suffer fate extreme
Lured by taste of nectar sweet
Upon the verdant sheen
Further up the leaf it climbs
To claim it's prize obscene
Until, at last, it's tiny soul
Has fallen to the green

Sorry if this "bugs" anyone. :}
