Subject: Drosera and herbal medicine

I'm currently doing a project with Drosera rotundifolia and costs and
benefists of production of secondary metabolites (7-methyljuglone). Part of
the reason for this is that Drosera is collected here in Finland and
exported to Germany where they make a herbal medicine of it. It is supposed
to be good against cough and "ailments in the respiratory tracts".
Has anyone tried this medicine and does it work? Is it commonly in use,
"threatning the survival of the European sundews"?
