Subject: N. macrovulgaris replies

Thanks to all who replied to my question.

>From what I have read here, it seems that N. macrovulgaris is one of
those nepenthes that can be grown either highland or lowland. I have
since found an article in a past CP newsletter where Allen Lowrie writes
they are good growers in cooler conditions. Plus Andreas Wistuba lists
them as very slow growers on his website (which explains the behavior of
my plant.)

I think I will try mine in the lowland chamber in the winter and the
highland chamber in the summer when temperatures are at their least
extreme for each environment.
