Dear all,

a belated thank you to those who helped regarding slide
scanning:

          Laurent Legendre and Rick Walker for advise on Kodak CD-rom,
          and Bill Sheren and Dereck Glidden for volunteering to scan
          the slides. Bill ended up with the task of scanning the
          slides as he is on the same side of the Atlantic as me.
          Hopefully the images and a few lines of explanation will
          appear on the data base in the near future.
