Talking about the "OUTER LIMITS" Cat that ate the Venus flower. Except I
don't think the Cat ate the flower on camera.

Hi Randy,

The episode of Outer Limits you are referring to starred Michael Ansara as a
soldier from the future accidentally send back to the present.
Realistically, he speaks another language and is armed with a laser rifle.
House cats were used for recon missions because they were telepathic, and
could mentally tell humans what they had seen. No explanation was given as
to how this happens, adding to the strangeness of a not-very-nice future .
The episode was written by Harlan Ellison, a noted sci-fi writer. Ellison
won a plagiarism lawsuit against Orion Pictures over the close similarities
between this episode of the Outer Limits and the movie "The Terminator".

Perhaps I will see you Sunday at the BBQ.
