Subject: possible improved CP TC disinfectant?

A recent issue of Science News (Aug 8, 1998 V154 No6) refers to a new
protocol for sterilizing produce. They recommend a two step treatment
with dilute vinegar followed by hydrogen peroxide. This new procedure
kills many pathogenic bacteria on both food and countertops, and was
more effective than chlorine.

An even earlier article on the technique can be found at:
    http://www.sciencenews.org/sn_arch/9-28-96/food.htm

Perhaps some of the groups TC enthusiasts might like to try this as
as possible sterilization protocol for CP.

It would make a nice science fair project also.

Best regards,
