I'm not blaming all taxonomists but some are definately out of order. I am
not limiting myself to just carnivorous plants, though this did all start with
a white flowered grandiflora from Ireland! No doubt the person concerned in
naming that will have an opportunity one day to name a new taxon once he can
discover the first different flower color in a S. purpurea growing wild some
remote place in Ireland.- S. purpurea var gothamii perhaps? (Jan - please
please please do not credit me with this taxon name - email is not a
legitimate method of publication!!!).
