EUROPEAN ALDROVANDA VESICULOSA FOR SALE
- last chance for the 1998 growing season!
Institute of Botany in Trebon, Czech Republic, offers adult
Aldrovanda vesiculosa plants or turions (turions preferred) for sale
for CP growers, scientific or Nature Conservation organizations, for
cultivation or (re)introduction activities.
The plants from East Poland are cultivated outdoors. They will
be sent by post mail, as turions enclosed in a tiny PE tube. The
dead-line for turion sending is 22 May 1998.
Price: 1 turion: 8 DM (or 5 USD) + postage 10 DM (or 6
USD); minimum sale: 10 plants; any order over 50 plants: price 5
DM/plant (or 3 USD). Payment is by an account sent from the Institute
of Botany.
For the cultivation instructions see the paper by L. Adamec
(1997): "How to grow Aldrovanda vesiculosa outdoors" in the special
issue of CPN 26: 85-88. The instructions may be sent on request.
