Dear Christophe,
The U.Gibba that I have grows well during the normal temparate
growing season. When Winter arrives I just let it outside in standing
water and it appears to die. But when spring arrives it starts to grow
and by late summer I have flowers again. It grows in a sand peat mixture
in a 4in. pot and thrives on neglect. It freezes and thaws off and on
all winter long. But nothing even resembles a living plant until the
springtime.
Good Luck.
