Hi Phil,

Thanks for the prompt reply, I'd expected an email to me rather than
through the list, however...

Sounds fair enough to me, but as I emailed, I didn't receive this
notification.

I hope my reply to you didn't come over as implying any malicious
intention on your part, I only asked as I was not aware of the changes.

I'm not sure what you mean here.

I had several discussions with Ron about payment and methods of payment.
Personally, I'm not too keen on writing cheques for small amounts of money
(ie one issue at a time), that incur proportionally large fees. This is
why I have in the past paid for all issues in cash and by hand.

I was aware that Ron was subsidising it to an extent, and urged him to
increase charges, but I did not realise it was to anywhere near this
extent.

I had only one temperate Ping in that greenhouse, an Ionantha I'd had for
many years, but I think this died through drying out rather than cold.
Quite a few Mexicans made it through the winter, only to die in the
spring, some four or five however are still going to this day.

Thanks anyway, I managed to replace quite a few through Graham (Sadd), so
life's not too bad.

I need your snail address re issue 8 please.

Regards

Andy

PS Why are Reply-To: fields set to cp@hplb on this list, when list replies
should go to cp@opus?
