Hi John,

   Most Nepenthes are rather easy too grow indoors, though space might
be a problem. But their care is fairly simple. Most houseplants (NOT
that Nepenthes are houseplants, though some can be) are tropical, BTW.
   Sarracenia can be very nice, but half the year they are dormant or
semi-dormant. Nepenthes can be grown year-round and maintain all their
vigor and lots of traps. They can slow down, but not like going
dormant. Nothing beats a really happy Nep with a half a dozen new
pitchers hanging down, well past the rim of the pot.
