Subject: Nepenthes Alata

I purchased a young nepenthes alata two weeks ago. Since then the two
lowest leaves shrivled up and died. Its newest stem has grown over an
inch since then though. I was wondering what could be wrong with it. And
I was wondering if anyone who grows n. alata could tell me good methods
or any tips you have on cultivating them. This is the first nepenthes I
have ever tried and I really don't want it to die so could you please
reply soon.
