Sounds like what I want to use for heliamphora, but I would add more
SiO2 for those plants. I have noticed something about Ceph - They
really like deep soil (as does D.hamiltonii). They even grow roots
that resemble a tap root, though it isn't a tap root as all their roots
appear to be adventitious and I don't think a tap root can be
adventitious (Jan?). Anyway, I'm wondering if Henning's superb plants
are simply getting to their normal size while I'm/we're making our's
into bonsai Cephalotus. I have gotten some really nice sized plants
in small pots, but perhaps what I think is a good Ceph isn't so good...
They are healthy and quick growing, but still too easy to kill - An
indication for a lack of root run?
