        Hi Leigh,
I have been growing U.Sandersonii, livida, subulata,
laterifolia and bisquamata here in Lancashire in a variety of
conditions in a frost free greenhouse and some indoors. They are so
successful that they have spread themselves all over the greenhouse.
They don't seem to be fussy but those in shadier and warmer positions
do best. Those indoors are the saddest looking. I also grow
prehensilis and reneformis but I haven't tried these at less than 10
degrees. A local CP grower has reneformis amongst his Sar's and have
survived OK in an unheated greenhouse. My Alpina and calcyfidia proved
more difficult - they died. Hope you will try some of the above.

        Good luck, Mark Harrison.
