Subject: CP or not CP

Hi all

By posting the non-CP topic about the peanuts, I've seen how can tolerance be
involved. Now it's OK with Frank, but I know that some people don't dare post
anything here because they've received some acid answers... I got no personal
problem with anybody, so I'll say 'be cool' and accept seeming-stupid or
out-of-subject messages.

Now, some questions more carnivorous :

1. My D. rotundifolia has sent his flower stalks a few weeks ago, and the
flowers are finished. Meanwhile it didn't produce any leaf. Is it a normal
behaviour ? Now some small leaves are appearing.

2. Why are the Cephalotus pitchers so hairy ? I have a really personal theory
: with these hairs, the plant detects obstacles and grows his trap in the best
way. I think that because the trap is not particularly oriented to the light,
but makes a perfect 'slalom' through the sphagnum and other leaves... I've
notified that the leaves too, are not touching theirselves although the dense
rosette of this plant. Did anyone have some comments about this amazing
possibility ?

3. My VFTs flowers are up too. New leaves slowly grow... Except on one plant.
There, at the base of the flower stalk, I can see a little red sphere with
green 'spikes'. Is it a kind of new bulb ?

4. Soon I'll update my site. If anyone wanna publish a picture or an article
or anything, please send it to lide@dvddd.com. I'd like to cover any genera of
plant, but don't want to pick elements from other sites... I have a calendar
and adresses page to publish dates for events or appointments. I need data to
create this site ! Hey, people from New-Zealand, that's the opportunity to
create our cyber-magazine !!!!
So, anyone, go there, http://www.dvddd.com/CP, clear eventually your cache and
you'll see a lot of unlinked plants categories... If you have info to publish,
send it to me at the office (to the e-mail adress in the text, not in the
header !)

Waiting for your numerous answers
