The introduction of the message read:

"Dear Mr Barry Meyers-Rice,", i.e. *not* "Dear Zachary" or "Dear cp
discussion list". It was obviously intended as a manuscript
submission for the upcoming _Aldrovanda_ special issue (September
1997) of CPN, submitted to a co-editor of CPN and only by mistake
sent to the whole list.

"Following your inquiry will you please consider my article
regarding some data of Aldrovanda in Ukraine."

I suppose noone on this list except Barry has ever requested any
*article* from "Viktor Rakov", (i.e. not Volodymyr who is only the
owner of the email account).

For those who want to read a CPN submission before it passed the
editorial process and who have not done it yet (NB: THIS WAS
CERTAINLY NOT THE INTENTION OF THE AUTHOR! But we cannot avoid it
anyway): the text is a uuencoded MS Word (TM) file ("A.DOC"). First
remove the message text (the uuencoded part starts with and
*includes* the "begin" line), uudecode the remainder (ignore "end
line missing" message), and read the result in a MS Word (TM)
compatible text processor.

Dear fellow subscribers, please do *not* send the ASCII version of the
text to *this list*! If you want to help each other with this text
(which was *not yet* intended for the eyes of the general public),
please use private email. AdTNXvance

Kind regards
Jan
