Subject: metal halide lighting

Has anyone used metal halide lighting to grow CP's?
There are metal halides on the market now in 250 W, 10,000 K which should be
adequate. If you need more lighting try the 400 W 20,000K light bulbs.
These bulbs produce adequate UV and color spectra promoting the growth of
hard and soft corals. Just an idea, may be an old one. Any comments?
