I've lived here all my life. It has been 20 years sence
I've seen this much snow, but that has not been the hard
part. It is the fast melt with heavy rains. I have never
seen any thing like it in my life! Interstate Highway 5
was an ICY RIVER most of the way home from work yesterday
and where it was not river like it resembeled a lake, yesterday
Dec. 29. The media said dont go out in it unless it is a matter
of life and death and my experence having been there is that it
was. I work temprature control at Swedish Med. Center In Seattle
and we couldnt send the sick people home for the storm so I went
to work. It has not been so cold about 28 deg F to 32 most of
the time I live in Everett about 32 miles north of Seattle
and Commute there 5 days a week.

Where I live the power is much better than much of the area around me,
I've not had a power outage of more than a few houres in years!
None this year. *<8-|D

My vft are all out in this and most of my Sarracenia! They
have been there for years. Andrew Tells me that while his
power was out he heated his green house with a Gas Lantern
(Coleman) and mantained 45 Deg. F. I guess We designed and
built it right. When the Snow was on my Green House it used
much fewer Btu's than on a normal night same temps. I run mine
much cooler about 33 to 34 Deg. F.
