If it is available, you might try Thiomyl. I have used this on very tiny
(2 mm) D. capensis seedlings (at the rate of 1/4 teaspoon per 16 fluid
oz)
without harm. I have not tried it on any other species. A knowledgeable
person cautioned me that Thiomyl is not selective enough, and may cause
a rebound by opening an environmental niche by wiping out harmless
fungi.
This person recommended Alliete (sp?), which I have not tried. On the
positive side, Thiomyl is a systemic, and was highly recomended by an
orchid shop.
