I would like to apoligize to the other members of the listserver.

I received the following emails from Dr. Juerg F. Steiger. I would like
apologize to any listserver members that I offended with my request for help.
I was not aware of the rules of posting. I was only asking for help with
information on digestive proteases. Also, I was very disgruntled by the
emails which I received, since I felt they were very condescending. See for
yourself:

"There is a lot of literature on this subject which was already discussed
several times on this forum. But not many people, like myself, will answer
to a request of someone who does not respect the basic posting rules of
human interaction, i.e. telling your name, where you are from, the reason
of your request etc. The use of the internet does not exempt from a
respectful culture of commmunication."

"You wrote messages in your mother tongue knowing exactly what you say and
mean. If I write a message - always with the help of a dictionnary - in a
language in which I do not speak, write, think, calculate and dream during
99 percent of my daily life it is obvious that wording and phrasing may
come out less adequate as desirable. BTW I've got 3 personal emails of CP
list members (all of the US) telling that they agreed with me and that they
were not astonished about the poor response you got on the listserver (I
think only one response with one paper; may be you got some additional at
your personal address) upon your "anonymous, clumsy request" which "simply
lacks common sense of human and scientific decency" (not my words). Your
reply <but it was never explained to me the so called "politically
correct" method of entering a message> is amazing as common sense needs
barely to be explained.

With kind regards Juerg (my last message)"
