Re: Natural Nepenthes soil

I saw a lot of locations of Nepenthes and they had all different kind of
soils. There was Nepenthes ampullaria growing in swamps, bicalcarata in pure
peat, macrovulgaris at roadsides in stony ultrabasic soils - dry like a
desert... But I never saw a Nepenthes growing in peatmoss!

All the plants had tiny roots which you can find only in the upper parts of
the soil.
