Hi Barry,

I think D sp 'Bannister' has been named D. Mannii. Looking through Slack's
'Insect-Eating Plants' I found a piccy which matches those in Lowrie's Vol 2.

If you write to Allen Lowrie, he will send you a list early next year from
which you can order gemmae for the summer, although there is a minimum
order of 6. Here in the UK, Stan Lampard may have gemmae for sale later
this year. Marston Exotics and Eco-Verdi also reputedly sell pygmies,
although I have no experience of them myself (at least, not since the former
left Somerset). I would offer to send you some gemmae myself but I.find
D Mannii a little tricky, and although I am in no immediate danger of losing
my colony I am not expecting a surfeit of gemmae.

BTW, regarding the occurrence of Drosophyllum in Morocco, Dr Stephen
Jury of Reading Uni showed me a slide of Drosophyllum in habitat taken
while botanising northern Morocco.
