Antho free plants

Just a question to anyone who has any experience with anthofree
Sarracenia. If you self the flowers, is it possible to get a plant with
pigment in it. The reason I ask is this. I have the anthofree gulfensis,
purpurea, psittacina, jonesii and an af psit x purp. I've self the purp,
gulfensis, and hybrid plants for a few years. In a recent planting of the
seed, only 3 of 15 purps were af, half of the gulfensis, and about half of
the psit x purps. Do some of the regressive pigment gene make a guest
appearance? Any comments
