I purchased this book via credit card, and things worked out just fine.
I can't believe that your bank cannot find RM (Malaysian Ringgit)
in their list of currencies. Try a foreign exchange firm. Even
the post office can send bank drafts in RM, but it takes a while
and is done through a "third party location".
