VFT min temp for winter

I have some VFTs that due to small children cannot be put in the
refrigerator. The kids love my plants and have "PLAYED" with them in
the past I got some good cuttings that way but I have them in a
unheated room under 40W florescent lights next to a WSW window. My
boys will investigate anything in the refrigerator so hiding the is no
good. What is the highest temp that VFTs will go dormant under? I have
the lights set to 45 min after sunrise and 45 min before sunset so the
plants know what time of year it is. Thanks
