Dear Laurent,

Email delivery to your private address failed, so I send this to the
whole list.

The denominations (at least) are wrong. They have not been validated
anywhere, AFAIK. "gypsicola" is Latin and should therefore be used
only for scientific epithets (like e.g. _Pinguicula gypsicola_). "ssp
Magaliesburg" is wrong for several reasons:
1. a scientific epithet must be Latin
2. a scientific epithet must not begin with a capital letter
3. an infraspecific (e.g. subspecies) designation must include the
superordinate species name.

I do not have a "complete list of world plants". Index Kewensis (Kew
sells it for approx. 1.5 kUS$) is rather close to this.

However, you can access the carnivorous plant (only approx. 500 spp.)
database via world wide web (free!):

There is also a version of the list in the archives of the cp
discussion list.

The holoparasitic plant list is at:

Please ask Rick Walker for further details.

Kind regards
Jan
