Hmmm I would have thought you are better off using fluorescents for
light because they are more efficient unless you are trying to filling
part of the spectrum that is not present using fluorescents. I am not
an expert by any means in growing plants under lights, I do know that
incandescents waste most of their energy in heat - very little is
converted to light.
