The UK CPS had a very good meeting at Kew Gardens on Saturday.
High point was a talk and slide show on Nepenthes by Martin Cheek.
Martin is currently co-authoring a taxonomic monograph on
Nepenthes.

Two things related to threads I have seen recently. Due to the either/or
nature of the timetable I didn't hear it first hand, but I understand that
Kew has dropped its Coir/Peat mixture and now uses Bark/Peat, and
the plants are doing much better. If anyone knows the details, please
could they pass them on.

Peter Taylor's Utricularia monograph was not on display in the
bookshop. A cashier disappeared into the back and returned 10 mins
later with 'the last copy'. So if you visit Kew in the next few days, don't
harbour any expectations of obtaining a copy.

Good Growing, NigelH
