Is there anyone on the list who can shed any light on the most
unusual
development of one of my Sarracenia purpurea ssp purpurea. It has
started to grow a stem! That is instead of there being a rosette of
leaves each new leaf is about 1cm above the previous leaf with a
definate length of stem inbetween. Up until now it has been a well
behaved normal S. purp with a rosette of leaves. The newest leaf is
growing about 1cm above the last at about 12 cm above the ground.
