A co-worker and I are growing D. Adelae in an air-conditioned office
building. The plants are about 4 feet from a large northwest facing window
and get about an hour of late afternoon sun max. in the summer. I checked
the temp and humidity today and they were 73F and 51%. That humidity seems
less than the high humidity I've read that they like, but they are growing in
spagnum so it's locally more humid.

Also growing well in the same area are U. Sandersonii and P. Moranensis.
Doing fairly well is a D. Prolifera. Against the window - where they get 4
hours max. sun in spring and summer - are a D. Capensis (doing ok) and a H.
Nutens (struggling).

As others here have experienced, the D. Adelaes struggled at first (and one
was attacked by bugs) but the new 'pups' seemed to have adapted quite well.

While I'm mentioning CPs growing in less than optimum conditions, about a
year ago I found a D. Capensis (a stray seed from one of my outdoor plants)
growing in wild moss (not spagnum) in full shade. It did quite well and was
catching bugs until I gave it away.
