Proboscidea and Ibecilla

Hi,
I just had a few comments and questions about these plants. I have finally
gotten 8 flowering size plants of Proboscidea. The flower is large, white
and has yellow stripes - quite attractive. On the other hand, I had no idea
the odor the flower produces - rather intense to say the least! I also had
two plants (1 Proboscidea and 1 Ibecilla) that developed damp-off so I did a
cutting and re-rooted them - both are doing fine now, though much smaller
than the other plants.
I was wondering about the carnivorous standing of both these plants - are
they insectivorous or not? What digestive enzymes do they test for to prove
they are carnivorous? Does anyone know any journal articles that discuss
these tests and their results for any of the CP's? Thanks for any help or
comments you may have.
