Ben,

I grow D.adelae in a terrarium along with other tropical CP, and they
have never shown any ill effects. As for your question about the
uncoordinated flowering, mine seem to flower when they feel fit,
even though we are in the middle of an Australian winter. In fact,
I have had my plants for about one year, and I can't remember
seeing them without flowers.

BTW, I live in the cooler temperate south. Our climate is Medditeranean,
wet, cool winters and hot, dry summers.
