Though I still use bark in the mixture for the adult plants I
recently tried my seedling mix for adult Nepenthes and was very
surprised to see that they seemed to like it more than the open
"Orchid Mix" containing lots of bark which I always used...

My seedling mix which I use for young plants of Nepenthes and
Heliamphora consists of:

-Peat
-little styrofoam beads about 5mm in diameter
-beads of burned clay (closed pores!) 3-5mm in diameter

in the mix I use these components 1:1:1
