recovering H. ionasii

Hello,

About two weeks ago I sent out a plea for suggestions concerning a
sick H. ionasii. Well, I'm happy to report that it appears that the
advice worked and the plant is going to be OK. I think the problem was
caused by too little light for a month or so.

I cut off the wilting/brown parts, drenched it with Benomyl and put it
in a warmer, sunnier location. It gets about 8-9 hours of indirect sun
in a nepenthes enclosure where the temperature peaks at around 80-85F
and goes as low as 60F at night.

Four new tiny green pitchers are visible now that don't show signs of
fungus. This is a very good sign because it was the tender new growth
that was preferentially attacked. I am relieved because my experience
with other plants (pinguicula, drosophyllum) is that once the fungus
gets to the growing points, the plant is as good as lost.
