Double-check--was it hardcover? The P&P book is out of print in hardcover
(at least according to the publisher), but has been reprinted by the
publisher in softcover for about $22 as I recall. The nursery still
presumably has the hardcover and may be the only ready source for that
version, although I have seen several hardcover copies in Barnes and Noble
bookstores. I've noticed that Timber Press books tend to go out of print
fairly quickly. As for Slack, I found my copy by requesting book searches
from used book stores. I know it's on a lot of want lists these days, but
I suspect that there are more copies out there than there are hardcore CP
enthusiasts.
