Hello! I recently found out about the CP mailing list, and since
carnivorous plants are one of my interests, decided to join. I have always
been interested in CP's ever since I was 8, I am now 21, btw. I have
managed to grow S. purpurea, Dionaea, D. capensis, D. adelae, P. vulgaris,
Darlingtonia, and an Utricularia (sp? it was and aquatic type). Right now
mt collection is small, including D. capensis and D. adelae, but I am
looking for another plant that I have not yet tried to grow to add to it. I
would prefrebally want to get a type of "pitcher plant". Also the plant
would need to be taken care of while I was away at school, my dad does
this, and is pretty good at keeping plants if the orchids he has are a good
indicator. The sundews have done well, and get a lot of food.
Anyway, I was wondering if anybody could help me. Is Cephalotus
hard to keep? How about any of the Heliamphora or other Sararacenia? Are
there any small reletively easy to keep Nepenthes (yes I know mthe
probalility of such a plant existing is rare)? Or maybe one of the types of
Drosera, D. filiformis, D. cristiflora, and D. binata all look interesting.
Well bye all!
