In hot places with low humidity, evaporative cooling should be useful.
Surrounding the terrarium somewhat with damp towelling dipping into a
reservoir will give up to 7 degrees C cooling at 25 C and 50% relative
humidity. For 30% RH, cooling can be as much as 10.5C. Air circulation
over the wet cloth improves cooling.
