Pollinating VFTS

Daniel, the pistil of a VFT flower is only receptive for a short time,
after that it can't be fertilized. My suggestion is as soon as you see
a flower open, brush some pollen on it from an older flower (since my
VFTs all flower at the same time I usually use flowers from a different
plant, but I have used the same plant's pollen and produced seed). You
can even remove a stamen with a pair of tweezers and dab it directly
onto the pistil. Do it until the pistil is coated completely with
pollen, if you do this to all the flowers on the plant you should get
some seed.

Demetrios
