Russell, I have this "problem" during the winter months. I keep my sundews
outside on my balcony in an aquarium to provide higher humidity. If there is
insufficient light/warmth and the humidity is near 100%, each insect my
sundews catch becomes a small mass of grey mould. Usually providing more air
circulation and light puts an end to this; however, when it's too cold, I
leave the aquarium covered up for warmth, and have yet suffer any losses.
But I wouldn't push it too far. Try more light or air circulation.
