Konnichiwa!! I'm telnetting from a friend's e-mail account here,
but hopefully I`ll have my own account soon. I just wanted to say hello
to everyone. Everything is OK here and running smoothly, at least it did
during this first week!
Luckily I got a fantastic dormitory here in Tokyo and there are 3
Brazilians who came with me who are Japanese descendents and speak the
language very well, serving as my translators! On April 18th I begin an
intensive Japanese-language course, which lasts 6 months. Other than
that, not much to tell. I've been busy running after a whole bunch of
paperwork we have to get ready for the university, the "alien"
registration, etc. I haven't really had much time to explor Tokyo yet,
except for the occasions in which I got lost on the subway!!
