Hi Bob,

I envy the experience you had seeing this marvelous plant in the wild,
you're correct, the plants located in the south-west corner of their
range usually don't exceed 30cm, the largest ones have been found near
Igarka on the Eastern bank of the Yenisey river.

>BTW do you know what the flowers look like?

Yes, the flower has six petals. 1 and 2 point straight upward, petals 3
and 4 are at 90 degree angles to 1 and 2 respectively and point
horizontally, parallel to the ground. Petals 5 and 6 point straight
downward. The petals are shaped like piroshki. 1 and 2 are colored
white, 3 and 4 are colored blue, (a slightly darker shade of blue than
the leaves), and 5 and 6 are scarlet red. You can't miss them.

Take care,

Demetrios
