C>Only after the plant started to die
Many CPlers reported that a VFT seems to die while bringing up a flower
stalk. Two possible explanations:

-Maybe the VFT is not in a very good shape, and the flower stalk needs a
lot of power to be brought up, so the VFT gets weaker and looses a lot of
traps. Mine didn't loose one trap last summer during flowering :-) But it
didn't produce ONE single seed... :-( (yes, i helped the flower to get
<missing vocabulary entered here>, I think you know what I mean.)

-Maybe the VFT was VERY weak or ill, and brought up a flower stalk as a
last possible way to reproduce.

Both ways, I don't think your loss of traps has anything to do with the
bugs.

Ciao, Daniel.
