Yesterday (Sunday) I went to the Washing DC Flower and Garden Show.
According to adds they were supposed to have "unusual plants from all
over the world". Unless a tulip is "unusual" the show fell way short.
I did, however, find one person who was selling S. purpurea, a few S.
rubra, D. muscipula and some ping's.

Two things burned me up about this guy. He insisted that a S.
rubra (which I bought as part of my own CP version of "Operation
Rescue") was a Cobra Lily. I have seen this alot. Everything from S
flava to Cephalotus and S purp all being called a "Cobra Lily". I
understand the need for common names but at least get them correct.

Second, I'm sure that most Cp this guy was selling would be dead
within a few months at best. In order to make a sale he was
representing CP as easy to grow house plants "just water them once a
week with tap water...They get all of their nutrients from the
soil...they don't need to catch insects for food...". The least he
could have done was included some simple growing intructions.
