Well, I went to my local greenhouse, and they didn't have Benlate
or Captan. What I ended up buying was a product called 'No-Damp:
Fungicide for Damping Off' made by Plant Products Co. Ltd. in Burlington
Ontario. The active ingredient is Oxine Benzoate (2.5% by volume). The
instructions say to dilute 10mL in 1L of water (distilled and de-ionized
of course!). This is applied at the base of the seed tray (ie: in the
watering tray). Has anyone ever used this stuff before? Any comments
would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
