          Demitrios,

I got superb germination of B.gigantea following the
instructions in Brian Cochrans excellent article in CPN.
Using this method, germination of these plants is easy!

Regarding GA, OK its an acid but not one to compare with
H2SO4 so its not going to dissolve your containers. Using
the whole 1gm sound excessive - with 1l of GA solution you
could raise enough Byblis plants to cover half the UK!!! I
think you should be able to roughly divide it into smaller
portions of approx 0.1gm with out a gram scale - I dont
think the concentration needs to be too precise

I suspect that once in solution the shelf life will be short
as it is an organic material and will be broken down by
microbial activity. Does any one know if the solution can be
stored frozen? Also how shelf stable is the powder under
          cool storage conditions?

Regarding Byblis seed, I have seen it offered by some
Society seed banks though this probably also came from
          Lowrie.

          Regards

          Loyd
