Little Pot of Horors and the CP Group

I am VERY new to the Internet AND the cp group ... my very first attempt at
ANY contact was mid-January when I asked if there was any information
about the care and feeding of Venus Fly Traps. I was overwhelmed with the
response from EIGHT of you, all offering encouragement and help. My one
and only cp was a venus fly trap from Little Pot of Horrors purchased from
a local hardware store, which I've kept alive in a glass cookie jar for a
year ... and for the holidays I gave an 11 year old niece her very own vft
in her very own cookie jar. So much for my "vast" experience.

I've really enjoyed reading the CP digests, even though I don't
understand most of the "technical talk". I REALLY enjoy the dialogues, and
we (my niece and I) are learning a great deal about the internet, geography
and cps in an easy, benign way. The CP WWW page FAQ was an extraordinarily
exciting find for us ... (it was almost too good because it was everything a
kid could ever hope for for an extra credit report, all there in one easy
down-load) and absolutely perfect for the cp beginner. For all of this, I
thank you all.

A very recent exchange bothered me enough to jump in. There was what I
considered to be another innocent "novice" call for information, very much
like my own call made in January. It's really difficult for those of us
who are 'beginners' with computers and the internet and these types of
plants to enter the arena with people who know SO much more.

Mr. Newman R. Guilford, try going to www.hpl.hp.com/bot/co_home and if that
one doesn't work try //192.6.19.66/bot/cp_home. I don't know HOW it works
(maybe one day I'll figure it out) but for right now I just know the
whole system is really run by 'fairy dust' and 'magic', so just keep
looking ... sometimes we all need a little help with the 'magic'.
