More on CP Archives (CP Faqs)

Hey folks,
This is Chris Frazier keeper of the CP archives
(http://randomaccess...) using a
borrowed computer. The CP archives page should be up in just a couple
of days. By the way, my first priority when I get back will be to
shorten the address a bit. I can't even remember what it is.
The other thing I wanted topoint out is that there is some confusion
over the
nomenclature of CP web pages. I call my page the CP Archives because it
is mostly a collection of other peoples works. The original carnivorous
plant homepage run by Rick Walker, which is centered around Jan's CP
database plus others and links to the listserve info, has since the
beginning refered to my page as the "CP Faqs." Later Barry Rice-Meyers
set up a page which he calls the "CP Faqs" page (which really is more of
a faqs page in terms of answers to commonly asked questions). To make
matters worse we now also have an "archive" on Rick's computer which is
the complete record of the postings on the listserve. I don't know how
much confusion has been caused by these various names, but there it is.
Maybe CP people are used to confusing nomeclature.
