Thanks to everyone who responded with an explanation about why the
tops of the leaves from my Sarr. were getting dried and brown. The
weather is warming up a bit more here.. (Yes, Florida does get a cold
season.) so I put my Sarracenias out into a more direct sunlight the
other day, along with some Droseras that had been growing indoors
under grow lights during the winter. The Sarrs almost immediately
developed a wonderful deep red coloring (literally overnight) and it
is very attractive. The coloring takes away from the dried
edges, so that it really isn't noticed that much now.
