Just after claiming my happines with VFT & D.capensis seed germination, I
have checked my stratified seeds of Darlingtonia californica, Sarracenia
purpurea minor & leucophyla, and Dionae muscipula.
To my disguese, I checked my seeds and I found them covered with
filamentous fungi, looking like bread mold. I have sown these seeds in
damp milled dry sphagnum moss and placed them in the refrigerato in
airtight containers.
What happened. I thought that sht sphagnum had natural antibiotic
properties to prevent fungi. Is it too late to save my seeds? I have
some Daconil fungicide.
What is the proper way of germination CP's under stratification?
